Family fintech for cross-border BR↔US households
Four domain pillars (Financial · Tax · Wealth · Immigration) anchored by an AI-augmented data layer; cross-cutting estate-continuity and insurance-planning meta-layers. Private platform — invite-only beta planned per platform-architecture decision record.
Problem
01.Cross-border BR↔US families lose information between countries — different ERPs, tax authorities, immigration timelines, asset jurisdictions, language conventions. Each pillar (taxes, finances, patrimony, immigration) lives in its own off-the-shelf product, and none of them talk to each other. Families navigate the seams manually with spreadsheets and accountant hand-offs that lose history every cycle.
Approach
02.One household platform with four domain pillars unified by a shared ledger. Financial: recurring expenses, income categorization, savings tracking, history visualization, predictions. Tax: filing prep workflow per (year × jurisdiction × person) for both US (IRS / 1040 / FBAR / 8938) and BR (IRPF / DIRPF). Wealth: hard + soft investment tracking, net-worth time series, depreciation. Immigration: visa-status timeline, USCIS case tracking, RFE-readiness scoring, scenario A/B/C planning. Cross-cutting: estate-continuity (survivor-access flow), insurance planning, AI-anchored decisions across all four pillars.
Impact
03.Private platform serving the Rodovalho household today. Currently 33 tables across migrations 0001-0087 with 257+ documents cataloged, 71 visa events, 53 accounts, 42 tax returns, and 173 asset position snapshots in the data layer. Cloudflare Access-gated. Platform path toward invite-only friend-beta + CPA marketplace integration per ADR-008.
